Interested in booking Jeffrey for a concert or private event? Jeffrey has performed his piano music as background music for weddings, corporate dinners, fundraisers, fashion shows, as well as at house concerts, church concerts, etc. You name the event, chances are he would be willing to play it.

Jeffrey's Main points of consideration:

    * At each event, Jeffrey would like to have the opportunity to sell his CDs so that people can take the music home with them and share it with others. (Only if the event is appropriate for this)

    * Jeffrey is very passionate about his music and he mainly plays a nice mixture of his original piano pieces as well as famous cover tunes from his CDs as well as other popular favorites. When you hire him, you're getting a true "Jeffrey Michael " performance!

BENEFITS, CHARITIES AND FUNDRAISERS ($500-$2000 + travel expenses)

This varies greatly depending on the event. What I often suggest is one of two options.

Option 1: (preferred): Find a sponsor to cover the fee ($500-$2000). Then all ticket sales and proceeds go toward the charity or benefit. If you sell tickets for $20, and sell 200 seats, that's $4000 to go toward the charity. All Jeffrey asks, aside from the fee, is that he has an opportunity to sell his CDs at the event.

Option 2: This is intended for smaller organizations who cannot afford Jeffrey's fee or find a sponsor to pay it. In this case Jeffrey will simply split the ticket sales. 50% goes to Jeffrey, 50% to the charity. This is a no-lose situation for you, as the organization doesn't pay him anything up front. However, you may pay more after the fact.

Sponsorships: For help paying Jeffrey's fee, considering asking a local business or business person to cover the fee for the event.  In exchange, you can print their business information on a program plus Jeffrey will be happy to give them a public acknowledgment/word of appreciation at the concert.

(TRAVEL EXPENSES)

In addition to Jeffrey's fee (see above for your specific event type), travel expenses need to be taken into consideration. As previously said, Jeffrey is willing to travel to pretty much anywhere in the world to play a concert as long as his basic expenses (air, car rental and accommodations) are covered. When you contact Jeffrey, just let him know where you're located and he can give you a general price range of what to expect.

(AVAILABILTY)

Check out Jeffrey's performance calendar as it changes frequently. He is consistently working on booking shows throughout the year. In fact, He is usually booking some shows almost a year out now. If you are in the Los Angeles, CA area, he may be able to squeeze you in somewhere. Shows elsewhere require a bit more time to plan. He likes to book out of state shows at least four to six months in advance. So contact him to discuss his current show schedule.

(PIANO REQUIREMENTS)

All Jeffrey asks is that you have a piano in good working condition. The pedals must work and all the keys must play. Naturally, He does prefer a 'grand' piano when playing in a concert setting, but it's not necessary. He will play an upright piano if it's in good working order (especially for house concerts). He also requests that you have the piano tuned just prior to the event - this is especially the case for formal concerts and house concerts. For shows at book stores, malls, coffee shops and the like, just having had the piano tuned within the last six months is usually sufficient.
